No, In the interest of your safety Shams office will remain closed and you can get in touch with the representatives online and through phone calls only. Sun-Thu 8am till 4pm.

Yes, our current timings are Sunday to Thursday from 8 am till 4 pm until further notice.
Yes, anyone wishing to start their business can do so by registering their interest on www.shams.ae. Our setup process is completely digitized for your convenience. So be it registration, documentation or payments, you can do so from the comfort of your home.
Shams has been issuing digital formation documents since February 2018, which can be verified through our online verification portal.
No. Most of our documents may be submitted online. For the services that require you to physically submit documents (such as passports), we have arranged for a pick-up and drop-off service. You can ask your Customer Happiness Executive for more details on this service.
You do not have to visit us to make payments. Shams offers various payment options such as online credit card payment and bank account transfer. You can enquire about your preferred mode of payment with our representative, who will be happy to guide you through the process.
Cash payment is still an option for our clients. You may visit any Sharjah Islamic Bank Cash Deposit Machine and deposit the amount.

If you are currently within the UAE, yes. There is a temporary suspension for applicants outside the UAE due to the measures taken by the Government to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Due to the closure of preventive medical centers in the UAE, applicants will not be able to undergo their medical tests mandatory for acquiring a residence visa. However, as per a UAE Cabinet decision, if your residence visa expires after the 1st of March 2020, there is an automatic extension of 3 months without any fines.
No. The UAE Cabinet has announced the suspension of administrative fines for violations concerning Emirates ID and other services of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, for a renewable period of 3 months.
