Shams Award for Arab Content Announces Sponsors of Its Second Edition Ceremony

Sharjah, 21 January 2026: Sharjah Media City (Shams) announced the sponsors and official partners of the second edition ceremony of the Shams Award for Arab Content. The announcement was made during a special event scheduled to take place later this January, as part of ongoing preparations to honor the award’s winners, creatives, and Arab content creators.

The ceremony is sponsored by a distinguished group of national and private institutions supporting the media and creative sectors. The Gold Sponsors include AradaSharjah Islamic Bank, and Alef Group, reaffirming their commitment to supporting cultural and media initiatives, strengthening the Arab content ecosystem, and empowering content creators to produce high-quality work that combines innovation with cultural value.

The Silver Sponsors include Beeah Group and Studio International (STUDIOI), reflecting their role in supporting creative projects and initiatives aimed at developing the media sector and creative industries, and contributing to the success of high-profile cultural events.

Sharjah Broadcasting Authority joins the ceremony as the Strategic Media Partner, providing live broadcast coverage across its television channels and digital platforms, in addition to comprehensive media coverage that includes accompanying programs, interviews, and special reports. This will help communicate the award’s cultural and creative objectives to audiences within the UAE and across the region.

The BLINX platform participates as the Official Storytelling Partner of the award, reaffirming its role in supporting the local and Arab media sectors and its engagement with cultural and creative events hosted by the Emirate of Sharjah.

The award’s partnership framework also includes RODE as the Technical Partner, alongside Maraya PlatformEdraak MediaAGMC, and Hind Al Oud as Supporting Partners, reflecting the breadth of institutional support for the award and reinforcing its position as a leading Arab platform for celebrating media creativity and content creators.

The House of Wisdom will host the second edition ceremony as a Supporting Partner, highlighting its cultural and intellectual role as a center for creativity, dialogue, and knowledge exchange. This aligns with the award’s mission to support Arab creative production and further strengthens Sharjah’s position as a hub for culture, media, and creative industries.

The announcement comes as part of ongoing preparations for the second edition awards ceremony, which has seen wide participation from across the Arab world and has reinforced the award’s status as a leading Arab initiative dedicated to supporting meaningful content and encouraging media production that combines quality with innovation.

His Excellency Rashid Abdalla Al Obad, Director General of Sharjah Media City (Shams), stated that the partnerships supporting the award reflect the confidence of leading national and international institutions in Shams’ mission and the award’s cultural and media objectives. He emphasized that these partnerships play a key role in ensuring the sustainability of creative initiatives and in supporting Arab content creators to produce high-quality media content capable of competing regionally and internationally.
