Shams Launches “Shams Comedy Club” – A Creative Platform for Talent
Sharjah, 29 January 2026 – Sharjah Media City (Shams), in collaboration withMadar Media, announced the launch of theShams Comedy Club, a comprehensive platform designed to support comedic talent, develop their skills, and produce comedy content that aligns with the evolving creative landscape.
The Shams headquarters recently hosted the first comedy evening at the club, featuring top Emirati comediansAli Saleh (Bin Suwaileh), Ahmed Saif, and Mohammed Al Kendy (Kendy Man), with highly interactive audience participation. During the event, the performers humorously addressed daily situations and social issues, blending entertainment with meaningful, awareness-driven messages.
This improvisational form of comedy is an effective tool for promoting positive values and behaviors in an engaging and light-hearted manner. Comedy performances can also be applied in schools, shopping centers, and public spaces to create a balance between entertainment and social impact, leaving an inspiring effect on audiences.
