Shams Showcases Its Renewed Media Vision and Flagship Projects at the “Bridge Summit 2025"

Sharjah – 04 December 2025: Sharjah Media City (Shams) is participating in the “Bridge” Summit 2025, the world’s largest event dedicated to the media, content, and entertainment sectors. The summit will take place from 8 to 10 December at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), bringing together over 60,000 professionals from 132 countries, as well as more than 430 speakers representing leading experts and global content creators.

Shams’ participation aligns with its strategic direction to strengthen its presence across major international platforms specializing in modern media industries, while showcasing its renewed creative ecosystem, pioneering programs, and initiatives designed to empower creators and startups, support content professionals, and develop an innovative media environment that keeps pace with global transformations.

His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Obad, Director General of Sharjah Media City, affirmed that participating in the “Bridge” Summit represents an important opportunity to highlight the significant progress achieved by Shams across various media and digital content sectors. He emphasized the city’s commitment to providing advanced media infrastructure that enables talent and companies to create and produce efficiently and professionally.

Al Obad added that Shams operates under an integrated vision aimed at enhancing a media environment capable of attracting global expertise and supporting startups, with a strong focus on adopting modern technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—to strengthen Sharjah’s position as a regional hub for creative content and a leader in the future of media.

Within an exhibition platform featuring more than 300 leading companies across media, artificial intelligence, creative technologies, gaming, and music, Shams will highlight the major media projects approved by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Among these is the landmark “Shams Studios” project—one of the city’s most significant initiatives—designed to establish an integrated production ecosystem featuring modern filming facilities and advanced infrastructure supporting production and post-production workflows. The project offers a professional environment for filmmakers, series producers, and digital creators, including multiple filming spaces and dedicated areas for editing, visual effects, and sound design, enabling the execution of regional and international productions to the highest global standards.

Shams will also showcase its integrated production ecosystem, which includes advanced filming studios, audio recording rooms, broadcast spaces, and a fully equipped Podcast Room designed for high-quality audio program production. The city will further highlight “Shams Training,” a dedicated initiative aimed at developing media talent and equipping professionals with the skills needed to navigate modern content industries. Additionally, Shams’ advanced technical infrastructure provides extensive capabilities for efficient, high-quality production of audio-visual content.

The city will also highlight its special commercial license packages designed for entrepreneurs in the media and content sectors. These flexible business licensing options simplify the process of establishing media startups and offer an enabling environment with integrated support services. The packages are part of Shams’ commitment to empowering creators and helping them transform their ideas into successful, sustainable ventures.

Abdullah Al Sharhan, Director of the Creative Services Department at Shams, will take part in a panel session discussing the role of artificial intelligence in the media sector, reflecting the city’s effort to empower its creative team to participate in specialized discussions that contribute to the development of the wider industry.

Shams will also shed light on its “Influencers Room” initiative—one of its leading short, intensive training programs aimed at developing the skills of local content creators and enabling them to meet the evolving demands of the digital content market. Additionally, Shams will present the latest developments of its AI-powered platform “Create with Shams,” which provides innovative tools for producing and designing various types of audio-visual content.
