Sharjah Media City Distributes 1,000 UAE Flags to Promote Values of Loyalty and Belonging
Sharjah, April 11, 2026:
Sharjah Media City (Shams) has distributed 1,000 United Arab Emirates flags across homes and residential neighborhoods in the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with the call of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to raise the national flag over homes and institutions, reinforcing the values of national unity and pride in Emirati identity.
This initiative aims to strengthen the spirit of loyalty and belonging within the community by directly reaching households and distributing flags, encouraging everyone to express their pride in the UAE and its achievements, while reflecting a unified and cohesive societal image.
Sharjah Media City emphasized that this step aligns with its ongoing commitment to its social and national responsibilities, and its dedication to supporting initiatives that foster unity and solidarity among community members, especially during times that call for strengthening collective spirit.
Shams also called on its affiliated companies, entrepreneurs, and creatives to actively engage with the initiative and contribute to spreading the celebration of the UAE flag across Sharjah’s neighborhoods, as a symbol of pride, sovereignty, and achievement.
