Sharjah Media City Organizes Blood Donation Campaign for Its Employees

Sharjah Media City (Shams) organized a blood donation campaign for its employees in collaboration with the Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Services Center, coinciding with World Blood Donation Day, observed annually on June 14 to highlight the importance of blood donation and its vital role in saving lives.

This initiative comes as part of Shams’ ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to actively participating in humanitarian efforts that support the community and promote health awareness. The campaign also reflects Shams’ keenness to foster a culture of giving and volunteerism among its employees, encouraging them to contribute to meaningful humanitarian and health-focused initiatives.

The campaign witnessed strong participation from Shams employees, who showed great enthusiasm to take part in this noble act. Blood donation is one of the most impactful health practices, helping save the lives of thousands of patients every year. It also strengthens the preparedness of medical centers to handle emergency cases and surgical procedures, in addition to offering health benefits to donors, such as stimulating blood circulation and contributing to disease prevention.
